Routine Norwalk Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Bust: Police Police arrested a man with a known history of drug crimes following a routine traffic stop on Monday, April 1, authorities said.  Trey Daniel Greene, 31, of Bridgeport, faces multiple felonies following the stop at the Stuart Avenue and Connecticut Avenue intersection in Norwalk, police said.  Officers pulled over a vehicle Greene was in and found 8.25 grams of cocaine, 14 grams of crack, 12 grams of fentanyl, and 14 folds of heroin, Norwalk police said.  He was being held on a $100,000 bond, police said.

Woman Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries In Sterling Crash A 78-year-old woman was seriously injured after an SUV crashed into her on Monday afternoon, April 1, authorities said.  The Oneco woman was walking on Plainfield Pike (Route 14) in Sterling when the Ford Explorer crashed into them around 12:15 p.m. Paramedics airlifted her to Rhode Island Hospital with life-threatening injuries, Connecticut State Police said. The driver, a 45-year-old Sterling woman, was not hurt in the crash.  State Police ask anyone who witnessed the crash or has any information on it to contact Trooper Jordan at 860-779-4900 or jordan.barile@ct.gov.
