10-Year-Old Girl Killed In Springfield Rampage Died Protecting Her Family: Obit Aubrianna Lynn Serra loved princesses, dancing, and gymnastics, but more than anything, she loved her family. The 10-year-old died trying to protect them when a gunman entered her grandmother's Springfield home last week, her obituary said.  Aubrianna Lynn was shot on Aug. 14, along with her 12-year-old sister and grandmother, Kim Fairbanks, at a home at 174 Berkshire Ave., Springfield police said. Their upstairs neighbor Victor Nieves pulled the trigger before killing himself, police said.   Aubrianna Lynn died three days after at Boston Children's Hospital after days in intensive care. …

'Kind, Loving Soul' ID'd As Man Killed In Topsfield Wreck A 63-year-old man from Topsfield has been identified as the body found inside a crashed car in Essex County last week.  Ronald Ivanoskos is believed to have been driving north on Boston Street (Route 1) in Topsfield on Thursday, Aug. 17, when he crossed into the southbound lane. A bus driver found the wrecked car around 7:30 a.m. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, authorities said. Teen Killed In Crash That Sent Car's Engine Through Western Mass Home During Police Chase: Cops A 19-year-old trying to escape police in Hampshire County lost control of his car, left the road, and went airborne, causing his vehicle to come apart, authorities said.  The chase began around 8:45 p.m. when a Massachusetts State Trooper spotted a 2011 Nissan Altima and attempted to pull it over on Route 202 South in Belchertown.
