Jethro Boucher, 15, was last seen in Brentwood on Saturday, Aug. 16, according to the New York State Missing Persons Clearinghouse. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, and black shoes. Victim ID’d After Pedestrian Killed On Thruway In Rotterdam A Troy woman has been identified as the pedestrian killed after being struck by a vehicle on the New York State Thruway in Schenectady County. Julia Barrett, 51, died after being hit in the westbound lanes of the Thruway near Exit 25 (I-890) in Rotterdam at about 8:50 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, New York State Police said. Barrett had been standing in a travel lane when the collision occurred. Her vehicle was later found parked on the shoulder of the roadway near the crash site. Two Workers Injured After Conveyor Belt Falls At Oceanside Recycling Facility Two men were hospitalized after being trapped beneath a conveyor belt that collapsed at a Long Island recycling facility. The incident happened around 10:20 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, at Earth-Tec Recycling, located on Wood Street in Oceanside, according to Nassau County Police.
