Paterson Charter School Organizes Walk-a-thon For Suicide Prevention PATERSON, N.J. -- The Paterson Charter School for Science & Technology will host its inaugural Campus Walk-a-Thon Friday.The walk-a-thon will be a fun and exciting event for community members to raise money and awareness for suicide prevention. Admission is $1 and all proceeds will benefit the American Suicide Prevention Foundation. Click here to register and donate to the event. Walk donations are being accepted until Thursday, June 30. Kent Library Celebrates Big Truck Day KENT LAKES, N.Y. -- More than 390 people, mostly parents and children, turned out to see the big trucks gathered at Kent Public Library on Saturday, June 4, for this year's "Big Truck and Community Vehicle Day." In addition to a fire truck, police van, construction equipment and well drillers, the event included a former tank belonging to the Putnam County Sheriff's Department.
