The award, given out by Section One Girls Basketball Coaches Association, is selected by a committee of coaches and members, recognizes a team’s fine sportsmanship in the game of basketball. Glassman was a former girls basketball coach and Section One Chairman for girls basketball. Meadowlands Museum Receives Old Map Of Rutherford RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Board of Trustees and Staff of the Meadowlands Museum recently announced its newest acquisition -- a hand-drawn map (14 by 19 inches) of the town of Rutherford in 1867 done by former Rutherford resident James Hands in 1947.Hands, born at 39 Donaldson in Rutherford and now retired in Mystic Conn., celebrated his 102nd birthday on Feb. 16. This beautiful new addition is prominently displayed in the main lobby of the museum.
