Record Number Of Valhalla Artists Display Work In Prominent Exhibition
VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Ten Valhalla High School seniors were selected to show their artwork in the Katonah Museum of Art’s “Young Artists 2016” exhibit. It is the most students participating from Valhalla in one year. The museum’s 33rd annual “Young Artists” exhibit gives high school seniors the opportunity to showcase their work in a professional museum. Valhalla Boys Indoor Track Team Crowned Sectional Champions
VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Following winning the League Championship in mid-January, the Valhalla High School boys indoor track team captured the Sectional Championship on Wednesday at the Armory Indoor Track and Field Center in Manhattan.The girls indoor track team was runner-up to the league title, and finished as runner-up in the Sectional Championship as well, despite having some injured and sick athletes. County Begins Repairs On Teaneck's Anderson Street Bridge
TEACNECK, N.J. -- The County of Bergen is beginning interim repairs to the Anderson Street Bridge. The repairs are a temporary remedy until such time that either a permanent repair or bridge replacement is made. Initially, eastbound lanes will be closed to traffic for approximately 90 days while repairs are made. On or about May 16, eastbound lanes will reopen and westbound lanes will be closed. The project is scheduled to be completed by June 28. Motorists should plan accordingly.
