North Salem Historical Society Fundraiser Aids Cemetery Restoration NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The North Salem Historical Society is hosting a winter social cocktail party on Friday, March 4, at the White Elephant in North Salem. Proceeds from the event will go to the restoration of North Salem's historical landmark, Cat Ridge cemetery, located on Cat Ridge Road. The NSHS along with other town groups have been helping to restore Cat Ridge since last year. The cemetery, dating to 1803, has felt the ravages of time. Redding's Park And Recreation Offers Fun Winter Break Trip REDDING, Conn. -- Redding's Park and Recreation Department is offering a trip for grades 3 and up to Rockin' Jump in Trumbull and Nutmeg Bowl in Fairfieldduring winter break on Tuesday, Feb. 16. The bus leaves the Redding Community Center at 9 a.m. and returns at 5 p.m. The cost is $55. A waiver must be signed prior to the trip for Rockin' Jump. The Rockin Jump waiver is here. You may sign up online or in the Park and Recreation office by Thursday, Feb. 11. If you have any questions, call the Park and Recreation office at (203) 938-2551.
