North Salem Historical Society Fundraiser Aids Cemetery Restoration
NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The North Salem Historical Society is hosting a winter social cocktail party on Friday, March 4, at the White Elephant in North Salem. Proceeds from the event will go to the restoration of North Salem's historical landmark, Cat Ridge cemetery, located on Cat Ridge Road.
The NSHS along with other town groups have been helping to restore Cat Ridge since last year. The cemetery, dating to 1803, has felt the ravages of time.

WILTON, Conn. -- A number of meetings are scheduled to learn about Solarize Wilton and the townwide solar installation preferred-pricing program. On Wednesday, Feb. 10, Ross Solar Group, Wilton’s solar installer for Solarize Wilton, will have a table at 7 p.m. at Wilton Library’s Green Speaker Series in the Brubeck Room.
There will be two “Solarize Workshops,” one at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11 at the Wilton Family Y, and one at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 8 in the Brubeck Room at Wilton Library.
