A Queens man who busted into a Long Island home and stole $210,000 in cash and jewelry was arrested Thursday, May 14, police said.
Ronald Suarez, 40, burglarized a home in Syosset on Dec. 19, 2025, around 6:30 p.m. and stole the valuables before fleeing, the Nassau County Police Department said.
Suarez evaded detection for nearly five months before cops caught up with him on Thursday following an extensive investigation, authorities said. He was charged with second-degree burglary and is also wanted in New York City for grand larceny, according to police.

Garrett Auer, 49, and Coty O’Keefe, 39, were arrested in possession of crystal methamphetamine, more than 20 grams of cocaine, and buprenorphine, New York State Police said.
O’Keefe was driving a 2009 Toyota through Cairo with Auer as a passenger just after midnight on Sunday, May 10, when state troopers initiated a traffic stop, authorities said.
