Triple Shooting Outside Newark High School: Police Three people were shot outside Newark Collegiate Academy on Tuesday, Feb. 17, authorities said. At 8:44 p.m., police responded to Littleton Avenue near 12th Avenue and found a man who had been shot, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, Miranda said. A second victim also arrived at the for treatment, Miranda said. A 16-year-old boy later arrived at the hospital for treatment, Miranda said.  Each victim is in stable condition and each suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Miranda said.

Deer Rescued After Falling In Ice In Oceanport: FD A deer was saved after they fell into the ice in Oceanport on Tuesday, Feb. 17, authorities said. Firefighters responded to the Shrewsbury River near Pocano Avenue to rescue the deer, Port-Au-Peck Chemical Hose Volunteer Fire Company said.  Multiple fire departments along with Oceanport police and first aid crews worked hand in hand to safely the rescue the deer and bring it back to shore, firefighters said.

A GoFundMe for the family of Lawrenceville's Ethan Citron had raised $21,000 as of Wednesday, Feb. 18. Citron is survived by his daughters, Brielle and Brianna. Millville Man Dies During Fight, Prosecutor Says A 35-year-old Millville man was killed following a fight on Monday, Feb. 16, authorities said. At 9 p.m., Detyren Hatch was transported to Inspira Hospital in Vineland after he sustained serious injuries during an altercation that occurred at a home located in the 500 block of N. Second Street in Millville, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said.  He was later flown to Cooper Hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries, Webb-McRae said. The investigation is ongoing, Webb-McRae said.

4-Year-Old Run Over By Tractor In , Airlifted: Njsp A 4-year-old boy was airlifted to a hospital after he was run over by a tractor in Cape May County on Sunday, Feb. 15, authorities said. At 3:32 p.m., troopers responded to Cape Regional Urgent Care in Upper Township after the boy fell off a tractor and was subsequently run over by one of its wheels, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital, Lebron said. The incident remains under investigation, Lebron said.
