At 8:50 p.m., officers responded to Manhattan Street near Beam Avenue after and found one adult and two juveniles struck by a 2004 Volvo Sedan while attempting to cross the street, Jackson Township police said. All 3 were transported to a nearby hospital for their injuries, police said. The crash remains under investigation, Jackson Township police said.

Plane Crashes In Linden: Authorities A plane crashed in Linden on Saturday, May 2, authorities said. At 3:35 p.m., officers and firefighters responded to Linden Airport at 1101 W. Edgar Rd. after a Cesna 172S Skyhawk veered off the runway during takeoff, Linden police said. The pilot was treated on scene and transported to a nearby hospital, police said. The pilot was the only person on board, the Federal Aviation Administration said. The FAA is investigating.

James Murray, a Berlin resident was convicted last December of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and obscenity to minors, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw said. The assaults occurred over a period of several years, Bradshaw said. It took the jury just three hours to reach its verdict, Bradshaw said.
