Woman Killed In Turnpike Crash In Haddon Heights: Njsp A 26-year-old woman was killed in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Camden County on Tuesday morning, July 14, authorities said. At 2:33 a.m., troopers responded to a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike southbound in Lawnside Boro after a Volkswagen SUV traveled off the road to the right and struck a tree, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for the New Jersey State police, said. Man Allegedly Harassed Child At School: Hackettstown Police Police in Hackettstown said they are investigating a recent harassment report involving an adult man and a child. On Monday, July 13, officers received a report of an adult man harassing a child outside Hackettstown Middle School at 500 Washington St., Hackettstown police. The next day, officers interviewed the man near the middle school as part of its investigation, police said. No charges have been filed, police said. The Hackettstown School District is fully cooperating with the Hackettstown Police Department as the investigation continues, law enforcement said.

On Tuesday, April 28 at 10 p.m., West Long Branch police responded to 123 Wall St. and found Adriano Catano, 46, unresponsive on his front lawn, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said. Catano was pronounced dead at the scene, Santiago said. An investigation determined Catano was struck by Rena Cain's vehicle before she fled the scene, Santiago said. Cain is charged with murder in the first degree, Santiago said.
