A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Adam Gidwitz, author of "A Tale Dark and Grimm" and "The Grimm Conclusion" met with Pelham 6th graders this week. He discussed his writing process and his new book, "The Inquisitor's Tale." Gidwitz is the son-in-law of 7th grade social studies teacher Linda Mancia who retired last year. Pelham Middle School was the first school he visited after his first book was published.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- State police closed off Teatown Road in Croton following a propane leak from a 100-pound tank Friday afternoon. The road was closed for safety reasons, Trooper Melissa McMorris said at around 3:30 p.m., and it was unknown if there were any injuries. The leak occurred outside a multi-family home. In the rout, Terraciano had four rushes for 104 yards as the Pelicans improved to 3-0 for the first time in years. Terraciano also had 1 solo takcle for a loss and was second on the team with 7 tackles. Pelham plays Saunders on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Sleepy Hollow Fire Department Battles Box Truck Blaze SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- The Sleepy Hollow Fire Department was on the scene of a box truck fire Monday night. The fire occurred at 6:20 p.m. at North Broadway and Bedford Road. Firefighters arrived on scene and found the fire extending from the passenger rear wheel area to a fiberglass box, according to the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze and found the fire was caused by passenger rear brakes not releasing manually, according to the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department. The South Tarrytown Fire Department provided assistance.
