The accident occurred at 7:45 a.m. between King Street and Ridge Street in Rye Brook. The accident is near the Greenwich border. The accident was also near Weaver Street in Greenwich, which was shut down around 6:30 a.m. due to a fire.

Developer Withdraws Plans For Hotel In Ridgefield RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- A developer has scrapped plans to build a 48-suite hotel in Ridgefield, according to a report on blog.ctnews.com Steven Zemo withdrew his application last week, citing a conflict with the town's land use commission, the story said. The extended stay hotel was planed for a 5-acre site on Old Quarry Road.  In a letter to Betty Brosius, Ridgefield's Director of Planning, Zemo expressed frustration at the lack of enthusiasm for the project from the Planning and Zoning Commission, the report said. The 15-kilometer (9.3-mile race) was postponed last Sunday because of icy roads. Snow is forecast for Saturday, which may force another postponement.
