2 Norwalk Cheerleading Teams Win State Titles NORWALK, Conn. -- Two Norwalk Packers cheerleading teams won state championships last weekend and will advance to the New England Regional championships later this month. Norwalk Packers 6th-Graders Win 3rd Straight League Championship NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Packers 6th grade football team won its third straight league championship with a 36-27 win over the Hartford Wildcats. Norwalk suffered a 13-12 loss to Hartford in the 4th grade state title game in  2012 and a 32-26 loss in the 2013 state title game. Ridgefield's Bordash Named Patriot League Rookie Of The Year RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Ridgefield’s Will Bordash, a freshman at Bucknell University, was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Year after Saturday’s conference championship meet at Bethlehem, Pa. Bordash was the top freshman in the league championship race. He finished 26th and covered the 8-kilometer course (almost five miles) in 24:57.
