Mathews Fires No-Hitter In Norwalk Little League NORWALK, Conn. -- Kiwanis' Jack Mathews pitched a no-hitter in a 18-0 win over Brendan's 101 in Norwalk Little League Major Division action. Mathews allowed only one base runner while striking out 10 of the 13 batters he faced. Mathews had a double, two singles and an RBI. Colin Bella also had three hits and three RBIs. Sean Buzzee, Landon Heatly and Brandon Frederique each had two hits. Oliver McGovern, Ian Foster, Thomas Foster and Jake Calabrese all singled. Pelham Grad Helps Notre Dame Reach Men's Lacrosse Semis PELHAM, N.Y. -- Matt Landis, a sophomore defenseman from Pelham Memorial High School, has been a key member for Notre Dame’s men’s lacrosse team in its run to the NCAA semifinals. Landis started and a had a key defensive assignment for the Irish as they beat Albany, 14-13, in the Saturday, May 17, quarterfinals.
