Harvey Will Host League Hockey Playoff Games BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The Evarts Ice Rink on the campus of The Harvey School in Katonah will be the site this year for the Fairchester Athletic Association hockey playoffs. Harvey will host the semifinal game Thursday, Feb. 20, at 3:45, and for the first time in school history Evarts Rink will host the FAA championship game scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22, at 8 p.m. Admission to the games is free. Pound Ridge Divers Help Whirlwind Win Own Invitational POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- The New Canaan YMCA Whirlwind Diving Team captured the team first place prize at the annual Whirlwind Winter Weekend Invitational Diving Meet held at the New Canaan YMCA last weekend. Divers from Pound Ridge helped lead Whirlwind to victory. There were 214 registered divers competing for 18 teams at the meet. Michael 'Mookie' Ruegger, 31, Darien Native DARIEN, Conn. – Michael (Mookie) Cade Ruegger, 31, a former Darien resident, died on Feb. 3 in Dover, N.J. Ruegger was born on Feb. 10, 1982, in Greenwich and was the son of Arthur and Susan Ruegger of Darien. He graduated from Darien High School in 2001. He was active on the debate team and was the football team manager. He received his bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University and a masters degree from Southern Connecticut State University.
