Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Man Dies In Edison Mobile Home Fire: Report An unidentified man was killed by a fire that swept through his mobile home in Central Jersey, according to NJ Advance Media.  Smoke billowed out of a trailer on Plainfield Avenue off Route 1 when firefighters arrived around 10:30 a.m., fire officials told the outlet. South Jersey Man Charged With Attempted Murder: Report A South Jersey man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting, NJ Advance Media reported.  Anthony J. Morgan, 33, of Lindenwold, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the Dec. 21 shooting that occurred outside of a home on West Adams Street in Paulsboro, the outlet said. Atlantic City Man Arrested With Loaded Handgun A 23-year-old man from Atlantic City was arrested with a loaded handgun and ammunition, authorities said. At 4:46 p.m., detectives of the Special Investigations Section arrested Daniele Tuitt in possession of a loaded handgun, police said.  Detective Alberto Valles was conducting surveillance when he observed Tuitt crossing Route 30 near North Carolina Avenue.
