Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

South Jersey Driver Killed In Route 130 Collision With Tractor-Trailer A 58-year-old man from South Jersey was killed when his van collided with a tractor trailer, authorities said. The crash occurred at 8:08 p.m. on Monday, according to Bordentown Township police.  David Jenkins of 3rd Ave. in Pemberton was traveling northbound on Route 130 near Taconic Road when his 2005 Dodge Caravan collided with a tractor trailer, police said. Jersey Shore Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Teenage Driver A 72-year-old pedestrian from Ocean County was killed while crossing the street, authorities said. Woman, 73, Struck, Killed By Train At NJ Crossing New Jersey Transit authorities have identified the person struck and killed by a train at a Jersey Shore crossing. Cynthia E. Sussman, 73, of Belmar was struck at 9:19 a.m. Sunday in Spring Lake by a North Jersey Coast line train, according to a NJ Transit spokesman. The train was traveling from Long Branch to Bay Head.
