Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Authorities ID Central Jersey Shooting Victim Authorities have identified the 24-year-old victim of last week's fatal shooting in Asbury Park. Dymir Leonard died as a result of gunshot wounds, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.  The fatal shooting has been ruled a homicide and remains under investigation, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey. The multiple shooting occurred at 5:37 a.m. Tuesday on James Avenue in Southampton Township, according to a New Jersey State Police spokesman. 2 Killed When Teenage Girl Crashes Stolen Jeep In Princeton Two people were killed when a 15-year-old driver from Newark crashed a stolen Jeep in Mercer County, authorities said. Authorities ID Double-Shooting Victim In Central Jersey Authorities have identified the man killed in a double shooting in Central Jersey.  On Sunday at about 9:55 p.m., police responded to Seaman Street and Remsen Avenue in New Brunswick on a report of a shooting, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and New Brunswick Police Director Anthony A.
