Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

The report came in at 3:33 p.m. saying that the tanker was leaking gasoline and possible exposure was involved, initial reports said. Traumatized Body Pulled From Camden Creek The body of a deceased male was pulled from Timber Creek in South Jersey, authorities said.  The body was found floating in the water on Monday, Nov. 1 on the 400 block of Front Street. The male has been identified as Charles Loveland, 45, last known address in Gloucester City, Gloucester Township.  He was reported missing in Paulsboro by his family on Oct. 22. Through a postmortem examination, the cause of death has been ruled a drowning. The manner of death is undetermined. Fatal Shooting Recorded In New Brunswick A fatal shooting occurred late Tuesday in Central Jersey, authorities said. First Responders Called To Serious Head-On Crash In Central Jersey Firefighters, police and EMS crews were called to a serious head-on crash in Central Jersey. The crash was reported at about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday near 326 Swimming River Road in Colts Neck, initial reports said.
