Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

First Responders Called To Serious South Jersey Crash Police, firefighters and EMS crews responded to a serious crash along Route 45 in South Jersey, authorities said.  The crash occurred about 9 a.m. Thursday at Bridgeton Pike (Route 45) and  Monroe Avenue in Mantua Township, Gloucester County, according to initial reports. An unconfirmed report said that at least two people were taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Police Identify Driver Killed In Central Jersey Crash Police have released the name of the driver killed in a crash on Route 33 in Middlesex County. Murray Lipman, 81, was pronounced dead at the scene of the Wednesday afternoon crash in Monroe Township, police said.  Lipman, of Monroe, was driving south on Bentley Road when the side of his car was struck by the front end of an SUV traveling westbound on Route 33, police said.  The driver of the SUV, a 39-year-old woman from Manalapan, was hospitalized with  non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
