Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Teenager Shot Dead In Camden A 19-year-old man was shot dead in Camden over the weekend, authorities said. Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation at 2359 S. 8th St., between Sylvan and Fairview streets, on Saturday night, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.  Police found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, they said.  The victim, identified as Darnell Farrish, 19, was taken to Cooper Hospital, they said. South Jersey Firefighters Respond Recycling Plant Blaze Firefighters from multiple jurisdictions were called to a blaze with heavy smoke at a recycling plant in Mercer County, authorities said. The fire was reported about 5 p.m. on the 1600 block of Calhoun Street in Ewing, according to initial reports.
