Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Woman Stabbed At Jersey Shore Stop & Shop Store, Reports Say Police, firefighters and EMS crews were called to a report of a stabbing in Monmouth County, authorities said. A woman reportedly was stabbed at mid-afternoon on Tuesday in front of a Stop & Shop store on Route 36 in Keyport, according to initial reports. The victim was taken to an area hospital by EMS, reports said. She had not been identified. A crime scene area was set up in front of the store, an unconfirmed report said. She reportedly was visiting her grandmother's home in Vineland when the fatal shooting occurred.  The girl fatally shot on Sunday was Jasayde Holder, the Cumberland County prosecutor said. South Jersey Driver, 60, Killed In Collision A 60-year-old man from Cumberland County was killed in a two-car crash, authorities said. Luther Kidd of Vineland was traveling west on East Broad Street in Millville about 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday when his pickup truck struck a car, Millville police said. Kidd's truck then ricocheted into a utility pole, police said. Kidd was pronounced dead at the crash scene, they said.
