Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Trenton Man, 20, Arrested In Fatal Shooting, Prosecutor Says A 20-year-old man from Trenton has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting last weekend, authorities said. Tyrell Williams was arrested Thursday afternoon in Trenton by members of the Mercer County Homicide Task Force, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. Njsp Identify South Jersey Woman, 30, Killed In Atlantic City Expressway Crash New Jersey State Police have identified the driver killed in a one-car crash last weekend on the Atlantic City Expressway.  Karla Gierbolini-Vazquez, 30, of Camden was driving westbound near milepost 48.6 in Gloucester Township when her Honda Civic veered off the right side of the expressway and hit several trees before she was ejected, state troopers said Gierbolini-Vazquez was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash, which occurred about 4:40 p.m. on Saturday. Four Seriously Hurt In NJ Turnpike Tractor-Trailer Crash Four people suffered serious injuries on Thursday in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Gloucester County, authorities said. The collision occurred at 5:04 p.m. on the northbound lanes in Deptford Township and involved a Toyota RAV 4 and a tractor-trailer, according to Sgt. First Class Lawrence Peele, of the New Jersey State Police. Four occupants of the Toyota were taken to Cooper University Medical Center, where they were in serious condition, Peele said.  The tractor-trailer driver was not hurt.
