Bergen Community College Faculty, Students Raise Money For Food Pantry PARAMUS, N.J. -- A dinner fundraiser organized by three longtime Bergen Community College faculty members recently raised several thousand dollars for the Center for Food Action. According to a statement from the school, Professor Steven Fischer, Professor Sydney Birnback and Professor Fred Golub utilized the culinary talents of the college's hotel/restaurant/hospitality students for the fundraiser, collecting $4,300 for the food pantry. In addition to preparing the food, the hospitality students also served the 67 people who attended the event at the main campus' "Bergen Room." …
