A Williamstown man was jailed after allegedly spitting on officers responding to a fight at a Monroe Township apartment complex Saturday morning, May 23, police said.
Monroe Township police were dispatched to Laurelton Village Apartments at 601 N. Black Horse Pike around 8:43 a.m., for a report of two men fighting, with one allegedly threatening to retrieve a weapon, according to police.
Officers arrived and attempted to diffuse the situation but were met with hostility, authorities said. Toyeon Murry-Ross, 31, was arrested at the scene, police said.
