A Harrington Park man has pleaded guilty in connection with the 2021 murder of his Fair Lawn coworker inside a Northvale bike shop, authorities said Wednesday, Dec. 24.
Christian V. Giron, 28, of Harrington Park, entered a guilty plea in Bergen County Superior Court in the murder of 43-year-old Jeanette A. Willem, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced.

Delaware State Police (DSP) have identified the trooper shot and killed while working an overtime assignment at a Wilmington Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) facility as Corporal Grade One Matthew T. “Ty” Snook.
Snook, 34, of Hockessin, DE, a 10-year veteran of the DSP, was working an overtime shift when he was shot by a 44-year-old customer who walked into the at the Karen L. Johnson DMV in Wilmington, Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 23, DSP said. Snook pushed an employee out of the way at which point the gunman shot him again, killing him, police said.
