The names of the three people killed in a Maryland plane crash over the weekend have been identified.
Yoav Bomrind, 26, of Israel, was identified as the pilot, according to Maryland State Police. The two passengers were David Rabinovitz, 19, of Israel, and Elad Neidik, 20, of Canada. All three were pronounced dead at the scene Sunday, June 21.
The single-engine Piper Cherokee was traveling from Ocean City, NJ, to Montgomery County Air Park when it went down for unknown reasons at approximately 11:30 p.m., according to Maryland State Police.

Two women were killed in a hit-and-run crash while crossing a Newark street Saturday night, authorities said.
Mariana Elizabeth Valverde Beltran, 58, of Elizabeth, and Maria Isabel DeLosAngeles Salgado Ayala, 61, of Newark, were struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Park Avenue and North 7th Street at approximately 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, according to Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II and Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda.

A 61-year-old North Bergen man was shot and killed Sunday night, June 21, and the person of interest in the case was later found dead after barricading himself inside a Wayne home, authorities said.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired on Paterson Plank Road near 14th Street at approximately 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, according to Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello.
