$35M Secured For New East Brunswick Senior Living Community
A new assisted living and memory care community is coming to New Jersey after developers secured $35.1 million in construction financing for the project. JLL Capital Markets arranged the financing for Benchmark at East Brunswick, an 87-unit, 100-bed senior living community planned, the company said on Tuesday, June 16. The two people killed in a New Jersey house fire early this week have been identified as Paul Avery, who starred in "All My Children," and his wife, Sheila Garry Avery, their child confirmed. Bruce D. Laughton, a Bergen County dad, high school coach, and longtime Ramapo College employee, died peacefully, surrounded by family on June 11, according to his obituary from Becker Funeral Home. He was 54 years old. Laughton grew up in Park Ridge and later raised his children, Elena and Colby, in Westwood. Two cats were killed and two men were injured in a house fire in Paramus on Monday evening, June 15, Daily Voice has learned. The fire broke out on the rear deck of a home on the 100 block of Cloverdale Avenue at approximately 6:15 p.m., responders said. Two men attempted to extinguish the flames with a hose and sprinkler before the fire spread into the basement.
