Man Killed In Crash After Failing To Stop At Intersection, Police Say
A 37-year-old man was killed after allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign on an area roadway, according to police. New York City resident Christian P. Brink, of Brooklyn, was the victim of the Dutchess County crash that happened 4:15 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 11, in the town of Amenia, said New York State Trooper AJ Hicks. An Initial investigation found Brink was operating a 2003 Toyota Camry southbound on County Route 83 approaching State Route 44 when he allegedly failed to stop and yield right of way at the intersection stop sign, Hicks said. Long Island Expressway Stretch Reopens After Serious Crash

The closure, reported just after 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, was in Suffolk County on the westbound side at Exit 53 in Hauppauge. Fatal Crash Causes Hours-Long Closure On Taconic Parkway
This story has been updated. A stretch of the Taconic State Parkway was closed throughout the morning commute following a fatal crash. The closure was southbound in Hopewell Junction between Route 29/Carpenter Road and Route 52. The crash happened just before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, but the lanes remained closed until around 10:30 a.m. during the accident investigation. 1 Dead In Route 195 Mercer County Crash
One person was killed in a Route 195 crash in Mercer County Sunday evening. A Hyundai sedan went off the eastbound side of the road into the woods around at Exit 5B around 5:35 p.m. in Hamilton Township, New Jersey State Police Trooper Alejandro Goez said. UPDATE: State police ID victim of Sunday's crash The exit ramp was closed for the accident investigation. Last week, a 16-year-old Trenton girl was killed in a crash on the same highway.
