Man Arraigned On Charges Of Manslaughter, DWI In Elmont Crash, DA Reports
A man has been arraigned on charges that he drove while intoxicated on Long Island and crashed into a utility pole, killing his passenger.
Kwesi Williams, age 41, of Queens, was arraigned on Monday, March 21, on charges in the December crash, according to Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly.
The DA's Office said Williams was indicted on Friday, Feb. 18, for the following charges:
Second-degree manslaughter
Second-degree vehicular manslaughter
Two counts of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol
Second-degree reckless endangerment
