Two incidents involving teenage girls at the KidsPeace facility in North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, have led to investigations by Pennsylvania State Police in Bethlehem announced on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025.
The first incident was reported on Friday, June 28, 2024. A 14-year-old girl from Douglassville alleged that she was harassed with physical contact by another client, according to police. The details of the harassment remain under investigation.

Easton Woman Dead, Driver Hospitalized In Bethlehem Crash: Police
An overnight crash in Bethlehem left one person dead and another injured, according to police.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:07 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5, near the intersection of William Penn Highway and Chipman Road, police said. A blue Nissan Altima veered off the road, crossed the opposing lane of traffic, and collided with two trees, township police said.

A domestic dispute turned violent when a Bethlehem man stabbed his girlfriend with a pocketknife, only to be found dead days later in Jordan Creek, Lehigh County authorities revealed on Tuesday, Dec. 31.
Daniel Leibensperger, 34, was cooking up more than trouble when he attacked his girlfriend in the kitchen of their Emmaus apartment on Wednesday, Dec. 18, police said.

Two men have been charged following an armed burglary and standoff with police at the Fountain Hill Pharmacy in Lehigh County on Christmas Eve, authorities announced Wednesday, Dec. 25.
