Arson: Landlord Admits Breaking Into Tenant's Home; Starting Fire, Lancaster County DA Says
An Akron landlord admitted to setting fire to his tenants’ apartment in an effort to force them out, prosecutors announced on Tuesday, Aug. 19.
Ronald Edgar Frisbie III, 29, of the 300 block of South 9th Street, admitted on Monday, July 29 before Judge Dennis Reinaker to two counts of arson, one count of burglary, and two counts of recklessly endangering another person, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.

Woman Attempted To Steal Car From Gas Station: Denville PD
A 33-year-old woman was arrested and charged after she attempted to steal vehicle from a gas station, authorities announced Tuesday, Aug. 12.
On Sunday, Aug. 10, officers responded to the Shell Gas Station at 279 E. Main Street after Johanna Posada-Ramirez, who has no fixed residence, burglarized a vehicle and attempted to steal it, Denville police said.
Posada-Ramirez was fleeing the area when officers arrived, but she was located at the Denville Train Station, police said.
She is charged with criminal attempt to steal a motor vehicle and burglary, police said.
Former Employee Linked To 2 Burglaries At Dessert Shop In Mamaroneck, Police Say
A 23-year-old man has been arrested and accused of stealing cash from a Westchester dessert shop he used to work at, police said.
The incidents happened at Ralph’s Italian Ices at 407 Mamaroneck Ave. in the Village of Mamaroneck, the village's police department announced on Friday, Aug. 8.
The investigation began on Wednesday, July 23, after the business owner reported that someone had entered the store on Friday, July 18, and stolen about $1,000 in cash.
