Man Killed In Morris County Car Crash ID'ed: Police Police have identified the 65-year-old Morris Plains man who was killed after his car crashed into a tree on the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 6. At 10 a.m., a vehicle, driven by John McTernan, traveling south on Littleton Road near Route 202 struck a tree in the area of Totten Way, Morris Plains police said. No other vehicles were involved, police said. McTernan was transported to Morristown Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said. The crash remains under investigation, police said.

At 10 a.m., a vehicle traveling south on Littleton Road near Route 202 struck a tree in the area of Totten Way, Morris Plains police said. No other vehicles were involved and the crash remains under investigation, police said. The male driver, whose name has not been released, was transported to Morristown Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Man Killed After Cars Strikes Trailer At Home Depot In Central Jersey A 55-year-old man from Middlesex County was killed when his car collided with a trailer parked at Home Depot, authorities said. On Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, at about 10:20 a.m., Old Bridge police responded to the Home Depot located on Route 9 South following a report of a crash.  Police found a 1999 Chevrolet Malibu which had collided with a parked trailer.  The Chevy Malibu was driven by Allen Szcus, of Kendall Park, police said.  Szcus, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
