A 3-year-old boy is fighting for his life in Maryland after falling out of a two-story window in Northeast Baltimore on Wednesday night, police say.
The child was found by officers on Wednesday, Oct. 12, in the 5100 block of Cedgate Road, where he reportedly fell, suffering head, neck, and back injuries, according to officials.
It is alleged that the child’s mother left him at home with other children while she ran errands.
The condition of the child was not immediately available on Thursday, Oct. 13.

Infant Locked Inside Hot Car In Stafford, No-Show Father Sought: Police
Police in Stafford County were looking for the dad of a one-month-old girl who was locked in a hot car over the weekend, they said.Officers found the baby on Sunday, Sept. 18 near Ferry Road and Randolph Road, with no parents or guardians in sight, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
The baby's father, 32-year-old Joseph Carratura, was contacted. He told police he would arrive at the convenience store, where the baby was left alone, shortly after their conversation, officials reported.
Sadly, 45 minutes later, Carratura had still not shown up, police said.

Local, state, and federal officials worked together to apprehend a wanted man in a Maryland hotel after he allegedly sexually abused a minor, according to the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office.
Ronald Joseph Babco, Jr., 35, was arrested following an investigation into an alleged sexual assault earlier this year, officials said.
In late May, the Frederick Police Department received a report of a possible sexual offense involving a juvenile victim, they said, leading to a detective with the Major Crimes Unit and Child Protective Services to identify Babco as a suspect.

Parents Charged After Leaving Toddler Unattended In Car At Suffolk Target, Police Say
The parents of a 13-month-old child have been charged after police say they left the toddler alone in a car in the parking lot of a Long Island Target store.
Suffolk County Police received a 911 at call stating a baby was left unattended in a parked vehicle that was turned off in the parking lot the Target in Bay Shore, located at 838 Sunrise Highway, at 4:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5.
Third Precinct officers arrived and saw the baby did not appear to be in distress, according to police.
