Stella Marina, which opened in 2009, abruptly announced it was shutting down on Monday, March 2.
"With heavy hearts, we announce the closing of our doors," the restaurant said on social media. "It has been a true privilege to serve the Asbury Park community over the past several years. Restaurant To Close After Being Sold In Somers: New Eatery To Open In Its Place
A longtime Westchester burger spot has officially closed its doors and is set to be replaced in the upcoming months.
Burger Barn, located in Somers at 289 Route 100, announced Sunday, March 1, that the restaurant has been sold and will remain permanently closed after 13 years in business.

Family Reeling After Fire Destroys Atlantic City Home
At 3 p.m., on Friday, Feb. 20, Tiosha Goddard's boyfriend woke her from her nap so she could pick up her schools from school and go shopping.
By 4:30 p.m., their Atlantic City apartment was engulfed in flames. Had Goddard not woken up and her and her boyfriend left the apartment on the 1800 block of Mississippi Avenue, they would've been trapped inside, according to a fundraiser set up to support the family.
