Crash With Injuries Closes Route 1 In Central Jersey
A crash with injuries closed Route 1 in Central Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 8:10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 29 southbound South of Plainfield Avenue in Edison Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Route 1 had been reopened by 9:30 a.m., according to Edison Police Deputy Chief Robert Dudash Jr. There were no life-threatening injuries, he said.

A 37-year-old Worcester County man faces multiple felony charges after police say he crashed his pickup truck into a box truck on the Massachusetts Turnpike Tuesday morning, Sept. 19, because he was high.
