? Teen Attacked, Robbed By Group In Newark's Ironbound
Police are asking the public's help identifying three males who attacked and robbed a 17-year-old in Newark Aug. 6. The victim was jumped as he was talking on his cell phone around 10:45 p.m. near McWhorter and Lafayette streets, police said. The victim blacked out during the attack and his cell phone was gone when he regained consciousness, He was taken to University Hospital for treatment and released. Police Looking For Shooter Who Grazed 6-Year-Old In Newark
The Newark Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in finding a man suspected of a shooting that left two people injured, including a young child who was grazed by a bullet. Authorities released a photo array of a man who may have opened fire Friday during a fight with another man outside The Waterfront recreation center on Grafton Avenue. Josue Rosario, 27, got into a quarrel with a woman on Thursday at a home in the city's East Ward. Rosario struck the woman, who left the home, according to an account by police.
