A Warren County man previously arrested for theft is facing charges once again, this time for burglarizing the home of somebody he knew, threatening them for more money over Instagram, and returning hours later to make a second burglary attempt, authorities said.
Rory Molnar, 37, of the 200 block of Harvard Drive in Hackettstown, is accused of forcing his way into the front door of the home of the sleeping victim, whom he knew, before demanding money and leaving around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Orange County resident Samuel Espada, age 44, of Harriman, was arrested on Monday, Aug. 21 in the town of Newburgh.

A couple is facing charges after they were allegedly caught squatting in a vacant home in the region.
Troopers in Schoharie County were called to a home on Route 7 in the town of Cobleskill on Sunday evening, July 23, for a report of trespassers.
An investigation found that Melissa Johnson, age 44, and Jesus Lanauze, age 58, both of Albany, had been living in the home without permission for nearly a week, according to State Police.
