Two New York men were busted in possession of several illegal drugs while traveling through the Capital Region, authorities said Thursday, May 14.
Garrett Auer, 49, and Coty O’Keefe, 39, were arrested in possession of crystal methamphetamine, more than 20 grams of cocaine, and buprenorphine, New York State Police said.
O’Keefe was driving a 2009 Toyota through Cairo with Auer as a passenger just after midnight on Sunday, May 10, when state troopers initiated a traffic stop, authorities said.

A man is facing felony drug charges after authorities say they found more than 30 grams of methamphetamine inside his Orange County home.
Officers carried out a search on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at a house on Benkard Avenue in the City of Newburgh as part of an investigation into suspected meth sales, the Town of New Windsor Police Department announced on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
