Matthew Witmer, 22, of Osceola Mills, was driving west along the 600 block of Rattlesnake Pike (SR 504) in Union Township when he veered off the right side of the road, struck a mailbox, crossed the center line into the oncoming lane, and slammed into an abandoned house around 12:29 a.m., Tuesday, April 1, according to Trooper Spencer Luciano with PSP Rockview.
