A speeding Fairfield County man was nabbed for two active warrants for failure to appear, according to police.
The incident took place in Westport on Tuesday, Aug. 22 on Post Road West.
Raymond Selvyn, age 21, of Norwalk, was charged with two counts of failure to appear and vehicle violations when the Westport Police Traffic Division was running stationary radar on Post Road West in the area of Burr Road, said Lt. Eric Woods, of the Westport Police.

A 34-year-old man who sucker punched a hotel guest in Stafford had been wanted for burglary and assault out of Prince William County, authorities said.
Eric McDonald, 34, of Dumfries, socked the other guest in the face at Woodspring Suites at 1006 Corporate Drive on Friday, Sept. 9 around 12:30 a.m., Stafford police sad.
McDonald was believed to be in a hotel room with Shaquan Royals, 33, of no fixed address. Royals indicated McDonald was not in the room and obstructed the investigation. Hotel management gave Royals 30 minutes to vacate the room, and as she left, McDonald exited as well. …

Milford Police have arrested a New Haven man with a whopping seven outstanding warrants out for his arrest.
Clinton Edwards, 49, New Haven, was arrested on July 21, while police were investigating the report of a stolen vehicle, police said. Among other things, Edwards is accused of skipping out on scheduled court appearances five times in 2020.
Edwards is being charged with possession of a stolen license plate, two counts of larceny, two counts of conspiracy to commit larceny, and five counts of failure to appear, police said. He is being held on an $82,500 bond.
