A 25-year-old New York mother has been charged after police found her month-old daughter dead inside a duffel bag in a closet of a family apartment.
Officers responding to a wellness check around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, discovered the infant inside a closet at an apartment on Veronica Place near Beverly Road in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, according to the NYPD.
The child, identified as Adonnys Kendall, was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
