Estate Executor Steals $27K+ From Elder, Ephrata Police Say
An estate executor has been charged with multiple felonies in connection with a nearly $28,000 theft, the Ephrata Police Department announced on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Dervin L. Bender, 58, of Ephrata, is accused of stealing $27,760 from an estate for which he was an executor over two years, the police alleged.
He has been charged with felonies for Theft by Unlawful Taking and Financial Exploitation of an Adult or Care-Dependent Person, according to the police.
Bender's preliminary arraignment was held before Magisterial District Judge Landis on Tuesday, Oct. 15, according to the police. …

Terence Kenneth Henderson, 26, a Middletown, Delaware native most recently of Oxford, was arrested and taken to Chester County Prison where he was arraigned Thursday, Oct. 10, the Oxford Police Department said.

The incident occurred in Orange County, in the municipal parking lot of the Newburgh Free Library, 124 Grand St., on Sunday, May 19.
According to City of Newburgh Chief of Staff Mike Neppl, detectives arrested Marcos Luna-Dedios, a 34-year-old City of Newburgh resident, on Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Two commercial air conditioning units were stolen from the HanoverView Animal Hospital in Bath this week, according to state police.
Kyle Anthony Kleintop, 36, was arrested on Tuesday, July 23 on multiple counts of felony theft, troopers wrote in a release.
The A/C units disappeared sometime during the overnight hours on Monday, July 22, authorities said. They had been removed, broken into pieces, and loaded into a vehicle, according to investigators.
