Daniel M. Broderick, of Danbury, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Feb. 8. A native of County Kerry, Ireland, Broderick moved to the United States in 2001, eventually settling in Danbury with his wife, Annie (Follansbee) Broderick, as their family grew to include a son and daughter, his obituary said.

A driver accused of intentionally putting lives at risk during youth football practice at a South Jersey sports complex has been arrested and charged, officials said.
The incident occurred around 7:29 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, when officers from the West Deptford Police Department were called to the RiverWinds complex for a report of a vehicle driving recklessly across the fields, Chief Michael Franks said.
