Third Person Found Guilty In Connection With Everett Man's 2016 Murder
A third person has been found guilty of murder in connection with the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old from Everett in 2016, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office said.
Rigoberto Landaverde-Lemus, age 28, of Everett was found guilty of first-degree murder of Omar Wildredo Reyes on Monday, Aug. 8, the office reports.
He joins Christian Nunez, who was found guilty of second-degree murder on June 15, 2018, and Jose Vasquez Ardon, who was found guilty of first-degree murder on March 26, 2019.

Duo Arraigned In Freeport Shooting That Killed 21-Year-Old, Injured 19-Year-Old
Two alleged gang members were arraigned in the murder of a 21-year-old and attempted murder of a 19-year-old at a Long Island park.
Christopher Anderson, age 26, of Roosevelt, and Floyd McNeil, age 26, of Hempstead, were indicted and charged with second-degree murder and second-degree attempted murder, according to an announcement from Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly on Wednesday, July 13.
They were also charged with first-degree attempted assault and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, Donnelly said.

A 20-year-old man has admitted to his role in a Fairfield County gang and the murder of a victim in 2019.
Tyrone Moore, of Bridgeport, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, July 5, to one count of conspiracy to engage in a pattern of racketeering activity stemming from his involvement in the "East End gang," according to Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States attorney for the District of Connecticut.
Avery said in pleading guilty to the charge, Moore admitted that he and another East End member fatally shot Shawn Warren, a member of rival "O.N.E. gang," on July 12, 2019.

Two MS-13 members from Long Island have pleaded guilty to the 2017 machete murder of a man whose body was found in a wooded area a year later.
Luis Alejandro Varela, age 24, of Mineola, and William Reyes-Fuentes, age 27, from Uniondale, pleaded guilty Friday, June 24, for the August 2017 machete murder of Carlos Rivas-Majano, said Nassau County District Attorney Anne T. Donnelly on Monday, June 27.
