Selfie Stunt In Stafford Leads To Man's Arrest
A 31-year-old Stafford man trying to impress his friends with the best selfie wound up in jail last week, authorities said. The selfie soiree was in full swing around 2 a.m. on Friday, June 3, at a Super 8 motel in Stafford. Staff at the motel called the Stafford County Sheriff's Office after a guest reported hearing a gunshot come from one of the balconies. Deputies scoured security videos to find out what happened. A 4-year-old boy from Pittsburgh has died after shooting himself in the face, according to police. The boy was identified by family members to CBS2 as Ajani Lane. His mom, Nay Lane, mourned his loss on Facebook. Police were called to a home in the 500 block of North Negley in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood around 8 a.m., according to a statement by the police. The boy was transported to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh where he later died, police said. There was a caregiver present in the home at the time of the shooting, according to police. An investigation is ongoing.

A 10-year-old boy shot and killed himself after finding a gun in his Philadelphia home, news reports say. The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. Saturday in a home at 1410 W Pacific St., NBC News reports. A 38-year-old off-duty police officer was shot and killed Tuesday when a juvenile accidentally fired off a weapon while the pair were hunting in Sussex County, Daily Voice has learned.
