Joseph Youtz, Lifelong Budd Lake Resident, Dies At 52
Joseph Youtz, who spent his entire life in the Budd Lake area, died on Monday, Dec. 9 in Hackettstown at the age of 52, according to an obituary from Cochran Funeral Home.
Born in Dover, Youtz graduated from Mount Olive High School, where he excelled as an athlete, later attending Jersey City State College, where he played football, his obituary reads. Youtz later went to work his family construction business, according to his obituary.

Next Of Kin Sought For NJ Man Killed In PA Crash: Coroner
The next of kin for a New Jersey man who recently was found dead is being searched for by the Lehigh County Coroners Office according to a release on Saturday, Nov. 2.
Vyacheslav Chornyy, 56, of Hackettstown, NJ, was found dead inside his vehicle parked in the 6000 block of Warden Road, Lowhill Township, Lehigh County, PA, the coroner detailed in the release.
"The cause and manner of death are pending further investigation," the coroner wrote noting that, "There are no suspicious circumstances in this investigation."

22-Year-Old Drove Drunk, Caused Head-On Crash: Hackettstown PD
A 22-year-old Hackettstown man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a car crash on the afternoon of Wednesday, Oct. 2, authorities said.
At 4:56 p.m., officers responded to Bilby Road and Willow Grove Street for a two-car crash, Hackettstown police said. A Honda Accord driven by Nicholas Abato crashed head-on into a Ford pickup, driven by an 18-year-old Stanhope resident, police said.
While speaking to Abato, officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage, police said. Abato was arrested and found to have a blood-alcohol content of .34%, police said.
