Several events have been planned to remember two young friends and motorcyclists killed in a multi-vehicle crash earlier this week in Monmouth County. Ka'shon K. Cross, 18, of Hazlet, and Gregory K. The two motorcyclists who were killed in a multi-vehicle crash Monday night, July 24 in Marlboro have been identified by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. Clifton Stolen Car Chase Ends In Newark Crash
A stolen car pursuit that began in Clifton ended with a crash in Newark and three occupants in the wind, authorities said. Clifton Police Officer Matthew Rugel was in the area of Broad Street and Elmwood Drive when he spotted the 2020 Audi, which had been reported stolen out of Hazlet and connected to subsequent crimes, shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 2. Pedestrian Struck, Airlifted In Jersey Shore Crash
Police, firefighters and EMS Crews were called to a pedestrian crash in Hazlet, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18 on Route 35 southbound in front of Home Depot, Hazlet police said. Three men and a teenager led police on a wild pursuit after crashing a stolen BMW, and then hopping in a Lexus SUV, causing one state trooper to crash his vehicle on the Garden State Parkway over the weekend, authorities said.
