Pedestrian Crash Reported On Jersey Shore
Pedestrians were struck by a vehicle on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. The crash occurred about noon on Thursday, Sept. 8 on Route 36 near Palmer Avenue in Hazlet, according to the state Department of Transporation. A Jersey Shore man has been arrested and criminally charged with breaking into his father’s home and attacking two relatives, killing one of them, authorities said. Ernest K. The first crash occurred at about 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27 on Route 36 at Middle Road in Hazlet, initial reports said. UPDATE: An armed robber who stabbed a Keansburg police officer was shot and killed by police at a local drug store Thursday afternoon, authorities said. Multiple officers fired at the robber at the Keansburg Pharmacy in Keansburg Plaza on Main Street shortly before 3:30 p.m., Acting New Jersey Attorney General Andrew J. Bruck said. Nearly two dozen employees at a Jersey Shore Costco store were sickened by a Freon leak that closed the location early Wednesday morning.
